Hopeland Summer School

In questioning the traditional exam-oriented and labeling education system, a passionate NGO is initiating a new education typology which aims to respect the individual nature of each young soul.  NIL Studio was invited to design a mobile structure to serve as an outdoor classroom in nature.

The design is a movable structure which can move to different location and forms different layout to suit different classes’ needs.  The ‘walls’ are perforated to reduce the pressure of a traditional enclosed wall.  Furthermore, the ‘wall’ is installed by rotatable joints so it can be rotated out to form different kinds of display or hanging device.
